Whenever the technology configuration items are modified (or added) as a result of a change, the Configuration Manager must
ensure that the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) is updated for the same. The Configuration Manager must identify
the new or the modified technology configuration items and update them in the CMDB. Additionally, the relationships between
the technology configuration items must also be updated.
In certain cases, when a new service is added, the Configuration Manager should investigate whether a configuration item
type attribute exists in the current CMDB. If a particular configuration type attribute does not exist, the Configuration
Manager can raise a Request For Change to have it added to the existing CMDB.
